Deacon Fausto was born in La Vega, Dominican Republic, on October 3rd, 1937. He was baptized and confirmed in the Cathedral of that same city. He married Daniela Canela, and together had five children, three girls and two boys. On August 24, 1986, he was ordained a permanent Deacon by Bishop Juan A. Flores at the Parish of St. Augustine in the Diocese of La Vega, Dominican Republic. [email protected]

In 1997, Deacon Manuel and his wife, Maud, moved from Brooklyn Heights to Park Slope, where they now live. Their son, Teo, is finishing his Masters of Architecture in New Haven, and their daughter, Mariela, lives in Williamsburg and works in Manhattan. In May 2013, Manuel was ordained a permanent deacon. Born in Bogot, Colombia, Alejandro Zuleta comes from a long line of celebrated Colombian Vallenato musicians. Before joining St. Joseph's Co-Cathedral, Alejandro served as Choir Conductor and Organist at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooklyn. He is currently Associate Musical Director at Teatro Sea NYC (one of the most prestigious Latino theaters in US). [email protected]
