Mass Schedule: Feast of the Immaculate Conception

On Friday, December 8th, we celebrate the Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Patroness of the United States of America.

Masses at the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph are at 8:00 AM for English, 9:00 AM for Spanish and 7:00 PM.

Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Celebrate the Feast and Holy Day of Obligation for the Patroness of The Americas on Tuesday, December 12th. The annual diocesan celebration and torch pilgrimage from the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph begins at 11:00 AM with Catechesis, followed by Holy Mass at 12 Noon. The Blessing and Lighting of the Torches of the Faithful will take place after Holy Mass. The torch procession will continue at over 40 Catholic Churches throughout Brooklyn and Queens.

Handel’s Messiah

The Foundation for the Revival of Classical Culture Presents a Christmas Concert, Beethoven’s Mass in C Major and selections from Handel’s Messiah on Saturday, December 16th at 6:00 PM from the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph.

Admission is $20 for Adults and $10 for Children.

Mass for 100th Anniversary of the Priestly Ordination of Bishop Francis Xavier Ford, M.M.

On Sunday, December 3rd at 3:00 PM there will be a Mass celebrated by Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio for the 100th Anniversary of the Priestly Ordination of Bishop Francis Xavier Ford, M.M. here at The Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph. All are welcome!

Annual Diocesan Migration Mass 2017

The Annual Diocesan Migration Mass will be held at The Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph on Saturday, November 18th at 2:00 pm celebrated by Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio.

All Soul’s Day

The parish family of St. Joseph will celebrate All Soul’s Day on November 2nd. There will be a bilingual Mass at the Co-Cathedral at 7:00 PM.

This year, we ask that you bring framed photos of friends and family members who have gone home to Jesus with you to Mass on October 29th. These photos will be placed on the altar rail for one week in remembrance of their life. Then on All Soul’s Day, the photos will be incensed and blessed during Mass.

Mass For Solidarity With Puerto Rico

On Friday, 10/20/17 at 7:00 PM, join Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio, the Diocese of Brooklyn and the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph as we celebrate a special Mass of Solidarity with Puerto Rico as they recover from the devastation of Hurricane Maria. Father Frederick Cintron, Director of Our Lady Mother of Divine Providence, and Pastor at St. Catharine of Alexandria, will preach the homily.

The Mass will be broadcasted LIVE from The Co-Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Prospect Heights at 7:00 PM.
